Remote Locations Can Be Dangerous: Be Sure You Have Medivac Coverage
If you are an adventurous person, or an outdoorsman, going on a hike in a remote location can sound like a great plan for your weekend getaway. You are probably also very well trained in survival "just in case", but have you made certain you are adequately insured for Medivac transportation costs in the event of an accident? My911 Inc. offers comprehensive personal tracker Smartphone GPS software, which can bring adventurous spirits some much needed peace of mind. Visit my-911 to read all of their many subscription benefits, which includes coverage for Medivac transportation.
No matter where you travel, if an injury or accident occurs, you will likely need to be taken to a hospital for treatment. In a remote location however, Medivac may be your only option for re-location to a medical treatment facility. Medivac is any transportation which brings a person from the scene of an injury to a hospital or other medical facility for care. Medivac is usually transportation by air, but depending upon the location could be other modes as well.
Medivac transportation can be very costly depending upon the length of the trip. Some Medivac trips can exceed $20,000, and the injured parties may not have the appropriate type of insurance to cover the costs, and they find their vacation suddenly ends up costing them more than they bargained for! For a small monthly fee however, you can have Medivac insurance through My911.com Inc., which will cover up to $50,000 of your Medivac transportation costs!
The peace of mind you can have knowing that someone will not only be able to locate you through GPS technology in the event of an accident, but that should you need Medivac transport to receive needed medical care you will not have to worry about the financial fall out of these expensive Medivac bills cannot be underestimated.
In addition to the peace of mind Medivac coverage can bring you, consider the security it also will bring to your loved ones. Most people do not take every family member and friend on their adventures through wild places, so there are likely several people back home waiting expectantly to know if you are ok. Having Medivac coverage will help those friends and family members who perhaps aren't quite as adventurous, to feel confident and secure with you taking your trip into the great unknown!
If you are a free spirit who enjoys walking in remote locations, perhaps taking photos or watching wildlife, it is important that you know you are protected from financial ruin in the event you have an unforeseen accident. No adventure is worth losing your home or other asset because you are unable to pay your Medivac bills.
No matter how careful you are, or how well you know your outdoor sport, you never know when Medivac transportation could suddenly be on the itinerary. Visit my-911 to see all their monthly subscription offers, and to sign up for this wonderful, convenient service!

Physic problem really need help?
Two geological field teams are working in a remote area. A global positioning system (GPS) tracker at their base camp shows the location of the first team as 37 km away, 13° north of west, and the second team as 21 km away, 39° east of north. When the first team uses its GPS to check the position of the second team, what does the GPS give for the following?
a.) the second team's distance from the first team
b.) the second team's direction from the first team, measured relative to due east
Call the teams A, B and the base camp C.
Then angle ACB = 39° + 77° [the 77 is obtained by 90 - 13]
....................... = 116°
Now apply the cosine rule to triangle ABC:
AB² = 37² + 21² - 2*37*21*cos116°
Therefore
AB = 49.912 km correct to five figures
Now apply the sine rule:
37/sin(ABC) = 49.912/sin(116°)
Therefore
sin(ABC) = 37*sin(116°)/49.912
............. = 0.6663
Therefore
angle ABC = 41.78°
Sorry, I found the wrong one. We need angle BAC, and using angle sum of the triangle it's 22.22°
Now draw a due north line through A.
The ray AC is inclined to it at 77°.
Therefore the ray AB is inclined to it at 77° + 22.22° = 99.22°
Therefore the direction of the second team B from the first is
9.22° north of east.
You may need to round off to the nearest whole degree.
