Garmin GPS?

I want to bid on a Garmin Street Pilot, but I don't know where to begin. I am looking at different ones on eBay. I don't know what to look for or what questions I should be asking the sellers. This is a gift for my DH.

I'd recommend the smaller/cheaper ones. Get a C320 (get a 2GB SD memory card separately so he can load the full set of maps in), they should be under $200. The NUVIs are a great newer model (easier to read screen in sunlight and a flatter profile (more like an ipod than a brick). It's hard to go wrong with Garmin; they have great receicers and software; here are some things to look for:

Touchscreen (this is a must)
SD Card slot (the hard-drive versions are more expensive and have a shorter battery life)
Bluetooth (this is a "like to have" if you want to use the GPS as a car speakerphone).

Some of the more advanced/expensive units have radio recievers for realtime traffic updates (avoid traffic jams, construction, etc.). These units are a lot more $$ and require a monthly subscription fee (not worth it IMO).

When bidding on eBay, make sure to know if the unit that you are bidding on is new (NIB), used, or refurbished.
