Satelite Navigation or Road Map?
I recently went on a journey where the car had a Satelite Navigation system. I found it to be the most annoying thing ever to be created. The womans voice kept reminding us to "turn left" ..."turn right".
The journey seemed to take for ages.
When we reached home. I looked it up in my trusty A-Z and realised we could have cut the journey by at least half an hour if we had followed the map down country lanes etc.
Does anyone else think that this particular piece of technology is worth the money? Do you miss the old paperback version?
Satnav is great when finding streets in a city. Once on the motorway you better take your A-Z. Easier for a helicopterview how to drive. You cannot rely for 100% on satnav because it's not always up to date plus they do make mistakes!
